Bloooomin Marvelous!

Ok so one of my New Year's resolutions was to get more involved with social media, it’s now March and so far it’s not going entirely to plan, but it’s never too late to start so I thought I’d write a very overdue blog to let you know what’s been going on in the creative world of Amelia Brown and what’s been keeping us busy in the last few months.

The orders just keep on coming through my Etsy shop and I’m proud to say that I’m becoming a more established seller with some great feedback. Here’s a few pics of some recent orders that I’ve made and some lush feedback from my buyers- thank you!

Hi Michelle. Oh my!!! I am so happy with the boxes they are wonderful, thank you so much!! You have made my wedding day extra special thank you once again for your time and effort its been a pleasure thank you so so much!!- Raminder Kaur

Michelle, We received the boxes yesterday. We absolutely adore them and they are perfect for our party favours that we are sending to our families!! Thanks so much for everything!!- Kristen Golden

I’ve also been designing a new range of wedding guest books that will be on my Etsy shop soon. Each one is unique and has a vintage inspired tag attached to the front of the book. The books themselves are a classic design, they’re A5 size with thick pages that are completely plain for your guests to write a message or even draw a picture if they so wish!!

Of course we love a creative challenge and would love to design a guest book to match your wedding theme or colour scheme so please get in touch to discuss a bespoke order. Talking of bespoke orders, I've been commissioned to design and make my first card box later this year... beach hut themed! Photos to follow, promise... it may even inspire a new stationery range!

I’ve also been out and about doing a bit of promo in the New Year, I had a great day exhibiting at the Wellington Barn wedding fair in February where I met some lovely brides and made some new supplier friends. Say hello to some great wedding suppliers in the Wiltshire area:

James Green Photographer- A very talented photographer.

Love To Plan- An expert wedding and event planner with an eye for detail.

88 Films- Making beautiful memories of your day in a unique wedding video.

As with most wedding fairs I was the only wedding stationery company exhibiting which was fab! Take a look at my beautiful vintage stall:

Finally if you’re in the Bristol area you’ll also find my stationery on the shelves at Tilly Tomlinson Flowers, and if you’re lucky you might also find me behind the counter as well, as I’ve taken the plunge and changed careers recently from event organiser to florist. Here’s a sneaky peak at some of my greener creations:

Exciting times to come!

A Royal Occasion

Since getting married on the same day as Wills and Kate last year I've become very patriotic and I can't wait for the Jubilee next weekend!

To celebrate at Amelia Brown we've been making some cute 'Keep Calm...' tags.
They would look great tied with red, white and blue ribbon to teacups, cutlery or some yummy cupcakes!

Visit our Etsy shop to view our 'Keep Calm' tags as well as our whole range of wedding favour boxes.

So I'm celebrating in style next weekend with a trip to London town to hopefully catch the flotilla. Whilst I was looking for some Jubilee inspiration online I came across this great video by Blue Peter to make some fab Union Jack windmills.
Trust Blue Peter to get into the spirit, I'll definately be waving mine at queenie next week!

And I can't complete this blog without mentioning the awesome new 'Blighty Almighty' range of Jewellery that my lovely friend's been working on at 'I Love Crafty' with the very talented Sarah Matthews. I haven't seen anything else like it and I can't wait to wear mine next weekend!

Check out the I Love Crafty shop to get yours whilst stocks last...

Spreading Our Wings...

So it's been a busy couple of weeks with the start up of Amelia Brown Wedding Stationery and Favours. We've embraced social media with our new blog, website and twitter now all up and running. It's very exciting to be able to share our news with you all, so please spread the love and watch us grow!

So Proud!
We definitely didn't start local with our first order of beautiful travel themed favour boxes going all the way to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to be filled with yummy chocolate truffles and given as gifts at a 65th Birthday Party.  They looked great and thank you to Luisa for sending us the photos of a travel themed box in front of Sugarloaf Mountain!
We’ve also been approached to provide stationery and theming for a Caribbean wedding and an Italian wedding- so it looks like our designs are going global already!

And of course we’ve been busy getting samples ready to go on our Amelia Brown Etsy page. We can’t wait to start selling officially and show you our full range of products. Watch out for that in the next few days!

And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve also started selling gift boxes and gift tags at a few local farm shops and tea rooms, so look out for Amelia Brown products around Bristol- you never know where they might pop up!

See you soon,
Amelia Brown x

Individually wrapped gift boxes.
1st baskets ready to go to Lower Mill Estate and the Dairy in Pucklechurch.

Travel themed favour box

Following on from my previous blog about travel themed weddings, here's a sneaky peak at Amelia Brown's new travel themed favour box. The ribbon colour can be changed to fit with your colour scheme and they would be great as thoughtful favour boxes for parties as well as weddings. They'll be available to buy soon on Etsy but if you can't wait that long then please get in touch with us!
